Is it possible to create a module program that connects to the main design program and in the design process finds patents and creates a list of acceptable patents for the project?
The main goal of the program is to offer the user a choice of patents for his project and to exclude conflict situations.
The IP5 is working on implementing alerting functionality to inform users to changes in the each application in the patent family. USPTO is currently evaluating providing this alerting via email and/or via RSS feeds. Please comment and provide feedback on the preferred format for receiving alerts.
The USPTO is evaluating transmitting documents between offices using Global Dossier.
We would like feedback and input on what types of users would use Global Dossier to transmit documents among offices. We would also like feedback and input on the types of documents that users would like to transmit among offices.
USPTO is evaluating pre-populating office-specific forms,including the Information Disclosure Statement (IDS) using data in Global Dossier. This would be delivered in an incremental approach. We would like to receive feedback from users about this possibility. What do you think of this? What level of control would you want over the citations that are pre-populated? User Community - How important is name standardization to you? Do you have any preferences or suggestions on how you would like to see this implemented?
We would like to gather some feedback on what would encourage applicants to submit their application in XML compatible format, e.g. .docx

In this electronic era that we are now operating in, is the task force investigating the ability for applicants to import office actions and similar documents directly into in-house docketing systems?
Would be nice to see if / when renewals are due and when the last ones were paid
Would include changes to applicant name, change of address, etc., that could be initiated by applicant through Global Dossier
