On November, 20, 2015, the USPTO launched the first service for Global Dossier - Dossier Access, a user-friendly online interface, which will make it easier for patent applicants to quickly and easily view, monitor, and manage intellectual property (IP) protection around the world by providing access to the dossiers of related applications filed at participating offices.

Global Dossier is an IP5 project being developed to provide services for monitoring and managing related cases filed in multiple international offices. Please click here to read more about Global Dossier.

The USPTO is looking to our external stakeholders to provide comments, and suggestions as we continue to develop Global Dossier.

The IP5 Offices are currently evaluating five services to determine the next service to deliver. Please provide any comments or ideas you may have on these services. If you have additional ideas that you believe the USPTO and the IP5 should consider, we want to hear those as well. Also, don't forget to vote on ideas and comments submitted by other users. The USPTO values your participation as we continue to develop Global Dossier.

Alerting Options via Global Dossier - Which Would You Prefer?

USPTO is exploring providing alerting functionality via Global Dossier. This alert would inform users when changes occurred within the patent family that the user was watching.

Two options we are potentially considering are providing alerts via email or providing alerts via RSS feed. We would love to hear from you regarding which option you would prefer.
